The best free QR app never use before

It's a great tool. Always useful to keep QR codes, read them before any action, and also great to create QR codes. I recommend this!!

Simple, dynamically capable & free with ads which are topical. Not obnoxious and tons of nice options after the scan.

I've been using Qrafter for several years - long before iPhones had built-in QR functionality. This app has stood over all the others: while most only allow you to scan (and only support URLs at that), there is seemingly nothing that Qrafter can't do. History is one of the biggest advantages of Qrafter. Going to a fair where everyone and their dog has fifty QR codes they want you to scan? Scan now, come back later! No other app I've used (as of a few years ago - long time customer) has this. Creation is another big feature: most people who create QR codes can only create URL QR codes on websites that automatically shorten them... using their own (usually unreliable) service. Qrafter, in addition to just letting you create a direct URL, lets you create so many other things! I can just create a contact card with my contact and have people scan it. I can create a scannable location, event, tweet, crypto link, and even scan-to-join Wi-Fi! With a recent update allowing creation of those new trendy QR codes with rounded corners / lines / whatever and SVG export (!), it's so dang easy to create designs that rival pretty much every other app/website out there and use them in professional design apps (Affinity, InDesign, Illustrator, etc.) There are so many other features - bulk scan, scan from photos, settings, macOS support, etc. - but the best one is that it's free! I only have two complaints: 1. I do wish it was possible to use files to supply pictures (scan, place photo on a code, etc), whether using the Files app on iOS/iPadOS or using files on macOS. 2. It disables actions when previewing a QR code before creating it for some reason. I don't know why. Also, as a suggestion, it would be nice if we could play around with different code masks: if multiple masks are suitable for most device to read a code, then maybe we could switch from the recommended mask to one that might look a bit better? I don't know; just a thought. Overall, wonderful piece of software! Thanks, Kerem Erkan!

I hope this issue can be resolved in history. When we click on the Wi-Fi sign, the Wi-Fi barcode should appear to us, note: not the whole box, just the Wi-Fi symbol close to the texts

Qrafter is one of those apps that just works. It has an awesome interface, too, and it’s dirt cheap for its feature set. - Does its job really well. - Can scan and create far more QR codes than I would ever need, without bogging down the interface full of useless, sluggish “features” (looking at you Photoshop) - I just have people scan a QR code I created with my contact card rather than ask for their number and text my info to them; it’s easier - Guests at my house can scan the guest Wi-Fi QR code - Can fine tune QR Codes (I don’t need to set the error correction to 25%… but I can) - Can read the funny PDF417 codes on drivers licenses and airplane tickets (and the data matrices on the back of shampoo bottles) when I’m really, really bored (please help me) - History of what I’ve scanned, has come in very useful on multiple occasions - Can remove ads and gain a few niche abilities for around $5, but the free version is epic FWIW (I paid for the Pro Pack) (best purchase of my life) - Can preview urls instead of being taken directly to them on code scan

Thank you for a very useful, no-gotchas product that has the marks of an honest and capable developer. Although I have no issues with nonintrusive ads, just to support and encourage the developer, I am switching to the paid version. Keep up the good work, sir!

I’ve relied on this app for a while, but now there are too many obnoxious ads. There are other free scanner apps that work as good or better without the ads.

Software is a no-brainer and a huge timesaver. Love it!

I personally think that paying 3.99 for life is worth it if i where you guys I would download this app now. I think most apps should have a free tear 👌

I mainly use this for personal use, and haven’t had any problems. Easy to scan QR codes as well as create them. If you’re looking for an all in one QR code app, I’d highly recommend this one.

I don’t like that it pops up an ad immediately after scanning a QR.

I’ve used this app since the beginning and find it extremely useful. I am a proofreader and editor for several authors, as well as web designer and other support. I use Qrafter to create website links, contact information and event notifications on my customers’ websites, business cards, flyers, etc. The app is easy to use and has almost every option I need. Highly recommended.

Does what it is supposed to and does it well! Worth the paid price! Keep up the great work.

So here’s all I need to do...I want to pack a box, then make a text list of what’s in the box, then print a QR code to stick on the box, so I can scan it at a later date and know what’s in the box. Simple, right? This app creates the code for a list I make...BUT, it will only print a HUGE, full page QR code. It literally takes the whole page. If I scan the code with anything but this app, it opens a search box in safari with my list in the search box. Ok, so my only REAL gripe is that I can’t print a SMALL code. I don’t mind having to scan the code with this app, but it won’t print a SMALL code...only a full page code. If it could print a small code, it’d be a 5 star app.

App consistently crashes when opened in IOS 9.3.1 since 10/13/19 update. Developer is aware and has promised a fix to the issue in the next update.

Been using this app for years and never had any problems with it and it is a good way to get the info you want from it

Great app! The red line is exactly what is scanned. Other apps, not so much. The only reason I don’t have this as 5 stars is that there isn’t a delay or “button” to say when it should “look”. Otherwise, it does exactly what I need!!!

Excellent scanner app. Works great, very clean interface. Has all the needed tools like history, ability to create or reproduce bar codes, jumpy to website, etc. Best scanner app available.

This is my go to app for creating QR codes. User friendly, fast and easy! There after many options for sending the code as well.

Really awesome app, I’ve used several different readers and several different creators and this one is just leaps and bounds above the rest. And it’s only the FREE version. I’m actually going to buy the full version because it’s that good

Like the ease but not the ads.

I don't bother to rate many apps, but if you ever want to scan or create QR codes, you want this one. The free level is useful, and if want to do more you will find the paid level worth it. I particularly like the safety scan, which checks URLs against Google's database of dangerous websites before following the link. I've used the log of past scans and the integration with cloud storage sites is handy for sharing the information to my other devices.

Qrafter is reliable and fast, always grabs the code - even with my old phone and even in less than ideal lighting. Other apps just leave me hanging: waving my device around like a loser who doesn't know how to download Qrafter.
